Afghan Welcome Program

CityServe's Compassion Network began selecting refugee families for the first 10 volunteers to our pilot Afghan Refugee Program back in February 2022. Since then, we have served 21 families and are currently selecting 13 more families to be served in the near future. The volunteers commit to a 3-month time of service, but many volunteers make lasting commitments and the connection continues even after the program requirement are fulfilled.

If you attend one of our network churches and are interested in connecting with a family, please take the time to (1) sign up for the Cultural Sensitivity training session at 4pm on September 22, (2) watch the Introductory Video by Josh Wroten, and (3) fill out the Volunteer Questionnaire below.
