About Us
CityServe’s Compassion Network
We are a faith-based organization that matches volunteers and resources from 50+ local Christian churches with those in need throughout the Tri-Cities. We have personally served over 21,000 people in need representing all faiths, economic and ethnic groups. CityServe’s Compassion Network was created in 2005 to be a ministry of the local Christian churches to connect our congregations with the needs of the community. As Christians, we believe that each human being is made in the image of God. Therefore, how we care for others is a reflection of our love for God. We do our best to serve everyone in the community regardless of race, color, religion (creed), gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
What We Do
Our primary purpose is to connect CityServe congregations with the needs of the community.
Compassion Network is located in the heart of Fremont within the Family Resource Center (FRC). Clients can navigate through the maze of services offered at FRC.
Compassion Network attempts to care for the whole person – physical, emotional, and spiritual needs – by investing time to get to know our clients and find out how our churches can help.
We do this by:
Connecting with clients through the Compassion Network office.
Partnering with congregations through our liaisons to meet needs in a relational manner.
Strategically resourcing congregations for community outreach.
