Supplemental Diaper Program
About the Supplemental Diaper Program
It was the vision of our Connection Coordinator Ruth who saw the need.
With the inflation rising, families have been struggling financially. One of the common needs in low-income families with young children were diapers. Diaper requests would come in multiple times a week and Ruth saw the opportunity and sprang into action.
In 2023, the Supplemental Diaper Program was launched! We are excited to serve our low-income families with a weeks worth of diapers from size 1-6. Every month, families who qualify, can register to receive several bundles of diapers that would supplement their needs.
Several Tri-Cities churches donate diapers and volunteer their time the 3rd Saturday of the month to distribute diapers at a local church in Fremont.
UPDATES: The Supplemental Diaper Program (SDP) has grown to currently serving 99 families and providing 4,890 diapers/wipes in August 2024 as well as baby clothes, toys, cribs, playpens, food, formula and just about “Everything Baby’, (all donated) which was going
to be the new name for this monthly event. However, it is morphing into an ‘Everything Family Event” since we are now providing donated clothes, accessories, kitchenware, small appliances, towels, linens and small household items.
God is good all the time!

Give
All of our programs are dependent on donations. In order to increase our ability to provide diapers to our client families, we rely on donations from churches. Your generous donations will help these families.
