Meeting the Needs for a New Refugee Family

HERE IS A HEARTWARMING STORY JUST RIGHT FOR THE START OF SUMMER

The Chow family from Convergence Church had a wonderful visit with R. and his roommate Z. the afternoon of June 18.  They delivered a set of dishes they had requested, and were invited in to talk and even share the simple meal they had made.  They told the Chows more about themselves and their departure from Afghanistan and Russia. R. wants the family to return so he can cook them his special rice dish. They were so humble and generous despite their own limited means.  Each  exchanged contact information, ensuring another connection opportunity.  The Chows felt very blessed by the visit.
