Volunteers in Action

Meet Steve & Kathy from Bridges Community Church. This wonderful couple heads up the food pantry at Bridges and deliver 6 bags of groceries for homeless individuals every Monday morning. The bags are distributed at our Soup Talk lunch on Thursdays.

They also single-handedly buy, and stuff the 60 bags every Joyful Bounty and Hearty Harvest. As they say, they love to be behind the scenes.

Steve and Kathy represent just a couple of the many volunteers in our churches who are heeding Jesus' advice to not do acts of service to be seen by others. Well done good and faithful servants!!
