Yard Clean Up

Catherine and her son James were referred to Compassion Network through their case worker. Catherine, who has dementia, and son James, who is in a wheelchair, were in need of yard work. Their overgrown front and side yard needed trimming, and they did not have the means and ability to trim it themselves.

Compassion Network reached out to our partner churches to ask for help.

A group of volunteers from Pillar Baptist Church responded to the need. Charissa, a liaison from Pillar, gathered together willing volunteers from her church to come together and work on the yard.

Coming Together

On a Saturday morning, the group of volunteers cleared the front and side yard that was several feet overgrown. Volunteers of all ages came together with joyful hearts to serve!
